In celebration of Geography Awareness Week and GIS Day help the Western Michigan University (WMU) Department of Geography, Environment, and Tourism map areas of the globe needing geospatial data to aid humanitarian efforts.

Join a community of mappers contributing data about buildings, trails, schools, and much more all around the world.

You will contribute to Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team projects mapping areas around the globe experiencing disaster (e.g. hurricanes, earthquakes) or in need of other help. You'll create open data, free for anyone to use globally.
