"50 years of MSF" mapathon with Missing Maps CZ community 2021 #6

With this event, we would like to commemorate 50 years since the founding of the humanitarian medical organization Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), so we will start with a short introduction of MSF and highlights from its 50 years of work and a brief overview of the history of maps in MSF. After covering the introduction to Missing Maps, we will map buildings in OpenStreetMap based on satellite images for MSF teams in north-western Nigeria. We will provide a training of the basics of mapping, as well as JOSM. The event will by hosted by the kiwi.com office in Prague and at the same time it will be possible to connect online.
