Code for Charlottesville in collaboration with the American Society of Civil Engineers chapter at UVA invite you to map sidewalks in Charlottesville!
The new sidewalk mapping project (https://www.codeforcville.org/sidewalk-mapping) was started to create better routing directions for people with mobility issues and people in wheelchairs. We need help gathering data on the locations of sidewalks, crosswalks, and curbs.
No experience is necessary! We’ll teach you how to use OpenStreetMap and the HOT Tasking Manager.
