Pegasus Group Mapathon Charity Day

The GIS team at Pegasus Group are running a mapathon to coincide with world GIS day on 18/11/2026.
The project aim of 'missing maps' is to provide base maps in the most vulnerable places in the developing world, so international and local NGOs and individuals can use the maps and data to better respond to crises affecting those areas, especially supporting 'hidden emergencies' - when huge humanitarian crises still don't make the headlines.
Volunteers are encouraged to gather in their local office to contribute towards the chosen task - which will be decided closer to the day. A demonstration will be given in the morning via teams, then we will come together at the end of the day to see our combined progress.
