Macro-Mapatón Regional

The Macro-Mapathon Regional Latin America 2026 is an online event where communities, universities, youth groups, disaster risk management teams, and volunteers from across Latin America work together to improve open map data. As part of this wider initiative, HeiGIT will also host a small in-person mapathon in Heidelberg. We invite participants to join us on Monday, 13 July 2026, from 17:00 to 19:00 at the Hörsaal, Berliner Straße, to map together and contribute to the regional effort. No previous mapping experience is needed, and food and drinks will be provided.
