UN Mappers Mappy Hour: Progress and Highlights of the UN Maps Community Ambassador Pilot Initiative

In March 2026, we launched the UN Maps Community Ambassadors Pilot Initiative. Through the Online UN Volunteers, we recruited four (4) UN Mappers and community leaders to take part in our exploration for twelve (12) weeks.

We are inviting the UN Mappers, OSM and open mapping community as well as related and interested organizations to join our special Mappy Hour this June!
We will share the highlights of the pilot initiative, learn from our community ambassadors, their progress, wins and challenges, and how you can be involved in this initiative.
