Inviting all to join OSM Madurai Armchair mapping party and discover the joy of mapping together.
This is an Armchair mapping party. That is, the mapping event will take part in closed environment and not a field survey style mapping.
Prerequisite: Participants are required to bring a laptop with WiFi connectivity and charger. Any web browser of choice installed
Who is this event for? This event is for anyone with interest to learn mapping (in general), open data, Free software and community mapping. You may have experience or knowledge about Open street maps. But it is not compulsory to have.This event is beginner friendly.
What will you learn? You will learn importance of map, mapping, open data, how to use OSM and contribute to OSM data.
