El State of the Map Latam 2026 se celebrará en la capital de México, Ciudad de México (CDMX) los días martes 27 a jueves 29 de octubre. Para esta octava edición de la Conferencia Latinoamericana de OpenStreetMap se busca mantener el compromiso de promover la integración de mapeadores de OSM de la región con desarrolladores de software libre y open source, comunidades de datos abiertos, organizaciones no gubernamentales, empresas, instituciones públicas, estudiantes e investigadores que busquen enriquecer la discusión en torno al uso de OpenStreetMap. A su vez, esta edición busca enriquecer la presentación de los trabajos de la comunidad de OSM Latam con la difusión de la cultura y folklore que caracteriza el país, siendo el Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso el recinto de la conferencia, y Día de Muertos su temporada. -.-.-.-.-.-.-. State of the Map Latam 2026 will be held in Mexico City (CDMX) on Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 October. For this eighth edition of the Latin American OpenStreetMap Conference, the aim is to maintain the commitment to promoting the integration of OSM mappers in the region with free and open source software developers, open data communities, non-governmental organisations, companies, public institutions, students and researchers seeking to enrich the discussion around the use of OpenStreetMap. In turn, this edition seeks to enrich the presentation of the work of the OSM Latam community with the dissemination of the culture and folklore that characterises the country, with the Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso as the conference venue and Día de Muertos as its season.
