What's a Mapathon... ?
A mapathon is an online participatory mapping party during which participants contribute to improving maps by digitising basic cartographic elements such as the footprints of farm buildings, the road/cycle network providing access to them, nearby sites of interest (according to each person's perception), and by describing them (opening hours, types of products sold, direct sales to the public, affiliation with quality labels, etc.).
