On January 19, 2026, join the Taskar Center for Accessible Technology for our Mappy New Year 2026 event: a free, virtual, accessibility-mapping event focused on making our built environments more inclusive by contributing data about pedestrian accessibility to OpenStreetMap.
Across four+ hours, community members from across the country will work together to map sidewalks and pedestrian features in Tacoma, WA. This is a chance to contribute to accessibility, learn new skills, and support data that communities use to advocate for safer, more connected places.
