The OpenStreetMap community of Delhi invites everyone to its upcoming mapping party!
A mapping party is an opportunity for newbies to learn about OpenStreetMap, why it is important, and some simple ways of using and improving it.
It's also an opportunity for experienced OSM contributors to learn new apps, workflows, and how to contribute to related projects like Panoramax, Mangrove Reviews, and Wikimedia Commons.
All participants will meet at a cafe and have a 60-minute learning session over drinks. Then, we will split up into teams and work together to improve the OSM data for a nearby market. Finally, we'll all regroup, conclude, and get some refreshments.
📱 All you need is an Android or iOS phone
(Android preferred. Other suggestions - a power bank, a charging cable, and/or drinking water.)
🗓️ Date: Sunday, 8th of March
🕙 Time: 3 PM to 6 PM, followed by refreshments (sponsored by TomTom)
