How do I join?

  1. Click the "Attend" button on the events you're attending. You will need to create an OpenStreetMap account, if you don't have one already.

  2. Join the OpenStreetMap West Bengal Telegram Group, or give us a call at +91-73842-71087

What will we be doing?

  • 2:30 to 2:45PM - Meet the people
  • 2:45 to 2:55PM - New participants learn what OSM is and a simple way of using it.
  • Returning participants learn new ways of using OSM.
  • 2:55 to 3:10PM - New participants learn to edit OSM
  • Returning participants learn new ways of editing OSM.
  • 3:10 to 4:50PM - We split into teams (if there are >5 attendees), and each team is assigned an area to map.
  • 4:50 to 5:00PM - We regroup (if split), and conclude the party.
  • 5:00PM onwards - We grab some food and drinks together, sponsored by TomTom

We suggest bringing...

  • a smartphone (preferably Android)
  • a power bank
  • a charging cable
  • drinking water
  • friends and colleagues - the more the merrier πŸ™‚
