OSM Mumbai Mapping Party No.10 (Trans-Harbour Line - North)
Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Third Wave Coffee, Inorbit Mall, Vashi
The OpenStreetMap community of Mumbai invites everyone to its upcoming mapping party!
A mapping party is an opportunity...
- to learn about OpenStreetMap;
- how to use it to replace Big Tech Maps;
- how to add shops etc to it using simple mobile apps;
- (for intermediate mappers) how to add building details and addresses, and advanced mapping tools and techniques;
- (for intermediate mappers) how to contribute to related projects like Panoramax, Mangrove Reviews, and Wikimedia Commons;
- (for advanced mappers) to work together and make a bigger impact.
We'll meet at a café for introductions and a 60-minute learning session. Then, we will split up into teams and work together to improve the OSM data for the nearby market. Finally, we'll all regroup, conclude, and get some refreshments.
📱 All you need is an Android or iOS phone

🗓️ Date: Saturday, 23rd of May
