GeoTE-Tanzania, in collaboration with YouthMappers chapters in Tanzania, will host a global community mapathon event to celebrate 20 years of OpenStreetMap. This is a unique opportunity to help improve the map by mapping unmapped areas in Morogoro, Tanzania, and to connect with fellow mappers from around the world. During the three-hour physical and online event, we will focus on enhancing map details and also explore the rich history of OpenStreetMap, reflecting on its growth and impact over the past two decades.
