 s gut feeling\, more facts.\n\nOn April 16–17\, 2027\, the Q2 DataRide r
 eturns for its second edition at the University of Mannheim. From Friday a
 fternoon to Saturday midday\, we’ll work with open data on cycling in Ma
 nnheim and bring it together with what no dataset contains: the local know
 ledge of people who ride these streets every day. The goal is solid\, evid
 ence-based input for the city administration and local politics.\n\nThis y
 ear’s guiding questions\n\nWhere from\, where to\, how many? Mannheim’
 s cycling and commuter flows\nCan AI judge whether a bike lane is safe and
  comfortable?\n\nNo coding required\nYou don’t need to be a programmer t
 o join. Developers\, data scientists\, GIS and OpenStreetMap folks work si
 de by side with everyday cyclists who know where the network works and whe
 re it doesn’t.\n\nWhat came out of 2026\n43 people\, one afternoon at Ma
 nnheim’s Stadthaus: two public dashboards\, 20 assessed problem spots in
  the cycling network handed over to the city\, and the finding that Mannhe
 im has the fewest pedestrian crossings per capita in the state of Baden-W
 ürttemberg.\n\nOrganizers and supporters\nOrganized by ADFC Mannheim\, Qu
 adRadEntscheid Mannheim and the Scientific Computing Research Group at the
  University of Mannheim. Supported by the City of Mannheim (Department of 
 Geoinformation and Urban Planning) and ZIV – Die Fahrradindustrie.\n\nWe

  we’re looking for computing power (GPUs for AI video analysis)\, data o
