DESCRIPTION:CADUS is hosting a Missing Maps Mapathon on Monday\, 13 July a
 nd we'd love you to join.\n\nIn humanitarian crises\, accurate maps are es
 sential. Many affected areas are still poorly mapped. At the mapathon we u
 se tools from the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) and work in the sp
 irit of the Missing Maps initiative and its community. Together we add dat
 a to OpenStreetMap from satellite imagery supporting individuals\, communi
 ties and organizations responding to crises and disasters.\n\nNever mapped
  before?\nWe'll give you a short intro and point you to entry-level tasks.
 \n\nAlready comfortable and mapped before?\nCome for the advanced tasks an
 d to swap knowledge with others in the room.\n\nWe will map urgent project
 s to support emergency responses e.g. in Venezuela and the DRC\n\nBring yo
 ur laptop. We'll take care of snacks\, drinks\, and support on site.\n\n
