 used by everyone.\n\n## What will we be doing?\n\n1. meet and greet  \n2. 
 first time mappers are introduced to 2 popular open-source OpenStreetMap a
 pplications ([Organic Maps](https://organicmaps.app/) and [Every Door](htt
 ps://every-door.app/))  \n3. everyone is split into groups\, with each gro
 up getting a specific area to explore and map using [Every Door](https://e
 very-door.app/)\n4. the groups disperse\, and venture into their assigned 
 areas for about 1 hour of mapping  \n5. regroup for brunch after mapping  
 \n\n## Who are we?\n\nWe are passionate and experienced OpenStreetMap cont
 ributors who improve it for fun in our free time. Many of us are also invo
 lved in open data\, free software and civic tech activities.\n\n## Useful 
 equipment to bring along\n\n* a functioning Android or iOS smartphone with
  mobile data (required)\n* a power bank (optional)\n* a charging cable (op
 tional)\n* water bottle/umbrella/cap (optional)\n\n## How do I join?\n\n* 
 There are no prerequisites for participating\, so feel free to join us in 
 the meeting point at the mentioned time.\n* Event updates are posted on th

 LR:matrix.org) group. Joining either of the groups is recommended\, but no

 d Town Park\, about 2km from the MG Road Metro Station\, or 500m from the 
 Richmond Circle Bus Stop. 13\, 37\, KBS-12HK\, KBS-1I and MKT-12HK are hig
 h-frequency bus routes that stop at Richmond Town Bus Stop. They can be bo
 arded from Majestic\, Banashankari\, Shivajinagar or KR Market.
